The morning of June 11th was overcast and cool, perfect weather for Raku.
Hosted by Bonnie Anderson and Bob McIver at Potters Addict in Kelowna twelve OKPA members and guests enjoyed traditional Raku, Naked Raku and a demonstration, by Anetta Siderowicz, of the Kiefer, flour and water dip (with sugar crystal sprinkles) of unglazed pieces hot out of the kiln. We were fueled by a pot-luck feast and fun exchanges of hot tips and cool tales.
